Immensely immersive and beautiful sound
I think these headphones are unparalleled for the price, they don't clamp hard on my head and the suspension strap design is really intuitive. Combined with a shockingly lightweight design I have no hassle having them on all day, it's like they are invisible which is what I would look for in a headphone, amazing comfort. The sound is so clear and emphasises the right parts, bass is still great for an open back and the width of sound here makes me feel like I got speakers which helps to separate sounds clearly like friends in call whilst gaming. Despite being open back, they don't really leak a lot of sound it's pretty isolated. Overall I'm really impressed with these and they'll be my main pair from now on.

Fantastic headset/headphone
Had these for a few weeks now and have become one of my favourite all round headsets for work and gaming usage. Super light and comfortable, sound great with minimal eq needed for my preference and with a decent mic. If you don't need wireless they are superb - if Sony could add the wireless functionality of the Inzone H9 II to these they'd be perfect!

Good for casual gamers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So when you open the box, you get the H6 Air headset, the USB‑C audio box, the detachable mic easy adjustable, the 3.5mm jack cable, and the usual stack of Sony papers. Everything’s laid out neatly, and the unboxing feels clean and well‑organised as usual. Just note that unlike the more expensive INZONE H9 II, there’s no travel bag included, so everything goes straight into your setup or your backpack as it is but this has a cool cable strap that wasn't on the H9. The headset itself is comfortable and lightweight, and the slider‑lock adjustment design makes it really easy to fit without it slipping around. The metal open‑back design gives it an airy, open feel, and it’s easy to wear for long sessions. Sound is solid for casual gaming, punchy enough, clear enough, and easy on the ears. The detachable mic is still very much “it works”, but it’s perfectly fine for chatting with friends and as stated is really easy to move around but stays in it's place. Overall, it’s an easygoing, no‑nonsense headset that does exactly what you want without making a fuss.

INZONE H6 Air
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well once again Sony have outdone themselves. Although I had no use for these, my grandson absolutely loves em. He barely takes them off. From connectivity to comfort to audio quality Sony definitely delivers. Connect flawlessly to his PS5 without fail, audio is great and he sez sometimes he forgets he’s got them on. So, to summarise, as good as it gets, if you believe my grandson, and I’ve no reason not to. Well worth every penny.

Comfortable and produce stunning sound !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had heard good things about the Sony H6 Air headphones, so I have been eagerly waiting to try them myself. Will they live up to expectations? The first thing I noticed was how light they are, coupled with the nylon ear cushions which are extremely soft, immediately made me realise these are probably the most comfortable headphones I have ever put on! The headband is fully adjustable for a perfect fit. Everything is well made with a few subtle logos which gives a clean look. As they have been produced with open back ear cups, the air passes through which definitely helps prevent sweat for long gaming sessions. After playing for a few hours, I actually forgot I was wearing them! The open back design also improves the sound quality, giving a more natural experience. The 40mm drivers, which are used in studio monitor headphones, have been tuned especially for gaming and give an incredible depth to the sound. The only drawback to the open back design is that you can occasionally hear noises from the environment around you. If you have them at a high volume, anyone near you will be able to hear the sound. I found the sound produced amazing with accurate bass and clear high frequencies. Taking it a step further, I tried the RPG/adventure setting which can be accessed via the Inzone hub. This gave incredible results and I truly felt immersed in the gaming world. Rustling of trees, a noise behind, and even giving the sense of height to the sound. Listening to music is just as impressive with these headphones. Truly stunning! The adjustable microphone works well and produces clear audio. The 3.5mm headphone jack can be connected to the supplied USB connector which ensures the H6 Air is compatible with just about any device! Being wired makes this possible and I believe Sony made the right choice here rather than going wireless. So did they live up to expectations? Yes and actually exceeded them! Extremely comfortable, stunning sound, especially when gaming, and compatibility make the H6 Air the best headphones I have ever used!

Weightless Gaming Headset for Everyone
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This headset comes with a 2m cord and a Type-C audio box, making it perfect for use with both a phone and a PC. The sound quality can be customized in the INZONE Hub, adding a personal touch to the listening experience. Its lightweight design means no discomfort, even after wearing it for long periods. With the same drivers as Sony’s MDR-MV1, the sound is incredible—good enough to double as a studio monitor. Truly a case of killing two birds with one stone!

Great Addition to Games, TeamTalk & Music at home.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The headphones were nicely packaged, complete with microphone, audio cable and USB-C adapter, all easily accessible in a removeable tray in the packaging box. Getting the headphones set up was straightforward - plug one end of the audio cable into the headphones and the other into your PC/Laptop or optional source, using either the 3.5mm jack or the USB-C adapter. The cable is designed adequately that the right angled end must be plugged into the source. Although this is indicated on a tag attached to the cable, I'm not sure of the benefits of designing the cable this way are, as it is something you could get the wrong way round, which I did! The cable length is a good at 2m and allows access to desktop as well as floor mounted PC's. The USB-C adapter is convenient, although, as I was assisted by my friend, there is no traditional USB-A offering. If I did my install correctly, you can only install the Inzone software from Sony's website, as I could find nothing in the box. Although that is minor issue as installing the software was very straightforward (I did get some help from my friend to do this, as I wasn't completely sure myself). The equalizer software comes with some decent pre-sets for different types of games, music and videos. I wasn't sure about the requirement to register for Sound Field Personalization, and would prefer this to be not required. The headphones themselves are comfortable and fully cover the ears with their cushioned fabric which don't get hot, even with continued use, which was pleasing. One small comment, the indication of left and right is so subtle, I missed it, and didn't notice till the second day of using which led to some unnecessary adjustments. The microphone mute button is excellent - giving a very clear indication as to whether the mic is active or not, without having to remove the headphones to check. The volume controls are a bit plasticy, but operate well enough. Last observation is the mic boom, which is extremely flexible and easy to move positions. The foam muffler is a bit cheap feeling as opposed to the rest of the headset. With friends I noticed the sound quality was excellent in comparison, in terms of both range for both games and music. The stereo sound is very good for the price range of the headsets and the Bass packs a real punch when turned up. The microphone picked up my voice clearly, but my friends said they could hear a lot of background noise, especially from my keyboard. The headphones overall are very good and by removing the mic, you get a decent pair of music headphones, which in all honesty, I would use for most as my gaming skills are very limited and as I have retired, teams, business meetings are few. I feel very happy to have a set of headphones which can double up for gaming and music equally in my locker. My biggest issues with them is the poor noise cancellation on the microphone and the need to create an account to use Sound Field Personalization. But, from a sound and feel quality, they are very good headphones.

H6 Air Gaming Headset - Comfortable & good sound
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sony has always been great with paper based packaging, so it was nice to see that continue with the Sony H6 Air. The headset itself is impressively light, comfortable, and secure, making it easy to wear for long periods without any discomfort. As a wired headset, it comes with a generously long cable, so connecting to devices is simple and you never have to worry about batteries or charging. I found is useful that it can connect directly into a wide range of products with no fuss and without them having to be right next to you which is a win. The sound quality is really good for gaming and music still sounds enjoyable, which isn’t always the case with a gaming headset. When you’re done using the headset, the earcups fold flat, so it’s easy to slip into a bag without taking up much space. The boom microphone has a lovely clear quality sound to it so doesn’t appear to require any physical adjustments and the mute button is well placed on the left ear piece. It’s a really good addition to my home setup.

A literal breath of fresh Air...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Headphones and headsets are funny things. In many ways, they are the absolute perfect way to listen to audio. The sound is highly controlled, and typical variables that ruin acoustic performance are minimised. They consistently perform at their best because randomly shaped rooms—which create chaotic sound reflections—are completely eliminated. Sound only bounces where it is meant to bounce: directly into your ears! And fortunately, human ears are more or less the same shape and size. Mostly. So far, so good. However, headphones can bring on severe listening fatigue. Yes, it’s a real thing. It happens when a headset is: * Too heavy * Poorly balanced * Sealed too tightly around your skull Add in active noise cancelling, and lengthy gaming sessions can quickly become uncomfortable, isolating, and borderline claustrophobic. These are known as closed-back headphones, which trap sound inside to prevent leakage while aggressively blocking out the outside world. Listening fatigue is a massive problem for us gamers. We all know the lie: "I’ll just jump on the PlayStation for five minutes..." only to snap out of a trance four hours later. Modern games put as much budget into audio detail as they do visuals. Because audio detail gives you a competitive advantage, and let's face it—gamers love an advantage. This is where the Sony INZONE H6 Air makes a massive difference. They are open-back headphones. They are designed specifically to let the audio leakage flow freely—both in and out. The impact of this open-back architecture is remarkable. It completely eliminates listening fatigue, and as an added bonus, everything you hear feels vastly more alive. The sound—and your ears—are finally allowed to breathe. It feels entirely natural. Add this to the fact that they only weigh about 199g. That is roughly the weight of a takeaway coffee, meaning your audio will literally be lighter than your morning caffeine fix. Yet despite feeling like a cloud on your head, they still pack heavy-duty drivers that deliver thundering bass and crisp precision. (Note: Because they are open-back, they leak sound. If you are playing games in the living room, your family will hear every single explosion, reload, and questionable teammate comment right along with you.) These cleverly designed features combine to make the Sony INZONE H6 Air absolutely effortless to use. They breathe new life into marathon gaming sessions, and frankly, that is a breath of fresh air.

INZONE H6 Air
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A gaming headphone that offer excellent performance for both music and gaming they have absolutely crystal clear sound, especially when I adjusted the equaliser the microphone is excellent, so light that it feels like there's nothing in your head I had doubts about the cushions, although not made of leather, the open back structure makes them very breathable, its my first time l had open-back gaming headset the mic is also decent and perfectly fine for chatting with friends in the game, it has all the buttons on one side of the headphones, like you do nowadays and you can’t miss the mute button. They is also a volume wheel, adjustable head band and a really long lead to connect to a gaming controller. All round I was very surprised how good they sound especially after adding a custom equaliser setting.
