It has adhesive backing to make applying it easy, and it can change between 16 different colours using the included remote. Lights look good and are easy to operate. Unfortunately the double sided tape does not stick lights keep falling down. Had to buy double sided tape added another £10 on to cost

Lights are great but after a week or two they all just fall off the wall and I had to find other ways to keep them up which is not ideal. Personally I would not purchase if I had known this would happen

Too heavy for the sticky to hold, expensive.
This is a nice thick set of lights but the thickness makes it heavy, so much so that they fall off. There are cheaper versions around, these are expensive.

I can advise the following for the Red5 LED Strip Lights -5m:
This has a Microphone built in and reacts to the sound/music being played in the room that this is installed in. There isn't an app for you to use.

Yes the remote does require the use of a watch style battery. One is included and a pull tab is required to be removed to activate it.
