Damaged!
Check inside the packaging before you leave the store! In both of the sets that we bought, there was a damaged mat where the coasters had been pushed against it. Even in the 3rd box, which we reserved at the store, one was of poor quality. The other mats are great and we are happy with them - we just needed to go through the hassle of exchanging bad mats for good ones...
