My friend streams everything and needed a new steamer. This is what she wanted so I bought it for Christmas. She is thrilled with it as it’s compact and doesn’t take up too much space on the counter but has space to steam to her hearts content! Great value too!

Does its job well
Brilliant size, esp when packed away, takes up less room than others I've had without affecting capacity. Cooks well and in good time. If it broke would buy same again. Highly recommended.

Ultra compact food steamer
Delighted with this steamer. Designed for convenience and hassle free steaming. I home cook most days and cook all different types of vegetables/ potatoes in mine. So easy, with a 60 minute timer. Most of my vegetables cook in half that time. There is up to 3 bowls to tier up (including a rice bowl). Auto shut off for worry free steaming. Good buy.

Poor quality
I've been using this steamer for a few weeks, although it does the job the baskets are flimsy and distort until they get warm. Not the quality I expect with a brand name Tefal.

A solid buy.
Small but amazing The Ultracompact Steamer is honestly great. Heats up fast, super easy to use, and doesn’t take up much space at all. It cooks veggies, rice, chicken everything comes out tasty and perfectly steamed. Cleanup is easy too. For something this compact, it does an awesome job. Definitely a solid buy.

Great Compact Steamer
I really love how Tefal have been able to design a fantastic looking steamer that is so compact that it can hide away in the corner of the kitchen. However, with that comes a slight drawback in that you can't just use the largest tray on its own (as it doesn't fit onto the base). All trays have to stack in a particular order. I have been using mine regularly for the past 6 months and it never lets me down, I mainly make vegetables, which are steamed to perfection. It is easy to clean and use, which is a great advantage. It would have been 5 stars if only I could use any one tray at a time, but I would still highly recommend.

We can confirm that this product is BPA free. Our products carry safety certificates issued by both British and European Safety Authorities and therefore have to be of a high specification to pass stringent tests set by these independent authorities.
