I was remarkably disappointed with this Vax. The brush head swivels and I got the cable caught in it. You cannot adjust the suction so it was difficult on rugs and I couldn't open the lid to access the filters. It was so,bad,I,ordered the same model as the ones had before this

Press the brush On/Off button located on the floorhead, to activate the brushbar/brushroll. The brushes should be ON for carpets and hard floor, and OFF for delicate flooring and or flooring not suitable for a rotating brush bar.

Removing the brush bar on the Vax Air Lift 2 Pet Plus Corded Upright Vacuum Cleaner is very easy, twist the side button and slide it out of the compartment.
