The Argos Home Heathdon Single Ottoman Bed Frame gives you smart storage where you need it most, ideal for smaller bedrooms where space matters. The textured woven fabric frame looks tidy and feels durable, while the side-opening ottoman lifts to reveal 362 litres of storage for spare bedding, clothes or seasonal items. You can assemble it to open from the left or right, whichever suits your room layout. There's a matching headboard included, and sprung wooden slats support your mattress for a comfortable night's sleep.
The ottoman lifts easily and stays open while you reach inside. The upholstered frame adds a soft finish that's kinder on shins than hard edges. It sits just a few centimetres off the floor, helping to keep dust at bay. The side rails sit at a comfortable height for getting in and out of bed. Holds up to 110kg total weight. Self-assembly required, two people recommended for lifting and positioning. One year manufacturer's guarantee included.

Great bed base with storage
Bought this for my grandson for when he stays with me He found it very comfortable and the storage is really handy. The only thing is, it could go with a handle to lift the mattress as you have to slide your hand under the mattress to grab the slats to lift

Need to have a clear space to assemble and definitely need to make sure you follow the instructions. Relatively easy to assemble and is really good storage bed. Once assembled the mechanism to lift open is on a slow release which is a good safety feature as in child's room. Loads of storage and would really recommend this bed of your after storage

Frame won't fit
Nightmare to put together the frame does not fit the bed I had to force it to make the holes line up for the bolts to fit. Other than that it's no better than okay

Really pleased with the bed. Packaged well and easy for my husband to assemble. Our son is really pleased with it. Just one suggestion, a strap to pull the the bed open. We made one, which was simple to do.

Argos Home Heathdon Single Ottoman Bed Frame - Grey 951/5400 When the ottoman side of the bed is lifted up to open it does not touch the wall. When lifted the other side does move downwards to the inside of the bed frame and does not over lap the bed. There is also a limit on how high the bed lifts up so that it is not entirely upright to touch the wall.
