Neat steam-generated iron
Nice fairly light iron and easy to use. The base makes a clonking noise when using the iron. Maybe that’s usual. Can’t work out how the flex goes round the base as the plastic side pieces don’t move. Otherwise quite happy with ironing results.

Bought to replace my old steam generator iron which had gained a small nick in the sole plate and was catching on delicate fabrics. Happy with the replacement. Remembering to disengage from the stand to actually iron takes some getting used to as does filling the tank for each ironing session but not too onerous.

Terrible. Tried it twice hated it both times. Makes a loud clicking noise, no steam comes out when ironing on the board, only vertically. Sticks to certain fabrics even on a cool setting. Would not recommend

Hi Wendy, we do not recommend to use any water other than untreated tap water in the iron. If you know you live in a hard water area the untreated tap water can be mixed 50/50 with either distilled or demineralised water but there needs to be at least a 50% concentration of untreated tap water used in order for the steam function to work properly. Our irons are specifically made to use untreated tap water. Do not use pure demineralised water, water from clothes dryers, scented or softened water, rain water, filtered, bottled or boiled water, water from refrigerators, batteries or air conditioners, pure distilled water or rain water as these may damage the iron. These types of water contain organic waste, mineral elements that become concentrated when heated and cause spitting, brown staining, leaking or premature wear on your iron.

If you want to use a UK or European electrical product in the USA you need a step-down transformer.
We can advise that from the base to the tip is 23cm and the width at the widest part of the soleplate is 12cm

You are able to use this product in the USA as long as a step-down transformer is used.
When you use the 'synthetic' or 'wool' settings, the temperature will decrease and no steam is required. Thus there is no need to press the steam trigger.
