It provides 120 g/min of steam and a 350 g/min boost for stubborn wrinkles. With a non-stick ceramic soleplate, the iron glides smoothly, while the 1.7 L removable water tank lets you iron longer without refills. Ready in 2 minutes, this 2200W iron helps you handle ironing quickly and efficiently.
The vertical steam function refreshes hanging clothes and curtains without an ironing board. For peace of mind, the iron has automatic shut-off when unattended and a storage lock. Anti-scale technology prevents limescale build-up, maintaining performance. Includes a 2-year guarantee.

Lovely iron .. except for the irons lead . It is quite annoying. It is in the way when you hold the iron to use . I found letting it sit over my wrist is less of a problem... Otherwise a brilliant iron and much improved to my old tefal generator.

Hi Wendy, we do not recommend to use any water other than untreated tap water in the iron. If you know you live in a hard water area the untreated tap water can be mixed 50/50 with either distilled or demineralised water but there needs to be at least a 50% concentration of untreated tap water used in order for the steam function to work properly. Our irons are specifically made to use untreated tap water. Do not use pure demineralised water, water from clothes dryers, scented or softened water, rain water, filtered, bottled or boiled water, water from refrigerators, batteries or air conditioners, pure distilled water or rain water as these may damage the iron. These types of water contain organic waste, mineral elements that become concentrated when heated and cause spitting, brown staining, leaking or premature wear on your iron.

If you want to use a UK or European electrical product in the USA you need a step-down transformer.
We can advise that from the base to the tip is 23cm and the width at the widest part of the soleplate is 12cm

You are able to use this product in the USA as long as a step-down transformer is used.
When you use the 'synthetic' or 'wool' settings, the temperature will decrease and no steam is required. Thus there is no need to press the steam trigger.
