Bought this for a starter set for my sons new gaming simulator set up. For the money paid, this is the best you are going to get for a spring loaded steering wheel. I don't think you'll match this quality without advancing to the direct drive wheels out there

You can adjust the sensitivity of the HORI Racing Wheel Apex using button combinations on the wheel itself or via the HORI Device Manager app, but you cannot physically make the wheel's inherent mechanical sturdiness or looseness less stiff. The physical resistance is a fixed component of the hardware's design.
