No mic monitoring/ Poor frequency response
After buying these I thought I couldn’t go wrong with standard Xbox headphones. I was wrong. First off they sound awful. really heavy in the low-mid range. Needed to buy Dolby Atmos do get them sounding balanced. Secondly they don’t have mic monitoring. A standard feature that comes with even the cheapest headsets. Shocking how these are mis-sold without that being a major point. I even went to Xbox about it who confirmed they are not capable of mic monitoring.. The noise suppression also cuts out my voice at unnecessary times (maybe because I can’t hear how loud or quiet I am talking due to no monitoring), or if suppression turned off picks up loads of background audio. Incredibly poor design.

High pitch buzzing noise in mic output on xbox but worked fine on a Mac. Still disappointing because this was designed for xbox.

They’re decent
They’re half decent, best cheaper headphones I’ve had. For a quick/temporary solution they’re spot on I use them for cod slight echo but nothing major. They are comfy though.

Great Headset for the price
I bought this over 6 months and have used it every day since, they are comfortable and can be worn for long sessions without any issues. The ability to nut the mic is really helpful for when I want to shout at my other half to leave me alone without the rest of my party hearing me! The audio quality is great and is compatible to some of the pricier headsets I have used over the years.

No, there is not an adaptor present however all current controllers have the same 3.5mm jack connection that is on the headphones so will natively plug straight into the controller.
