Annoying
I bought this yesterday and already I am getting frustrated with it. It is 15mm too tall for my standard filter tap. The lid needs to be physically removed to fill. And it also needs to be removed to empty fully. And finally after boiling a full kettle 3 times, as required to prepare for use, the heating plate inside was already discoloured.

Russell Hobbs white glass kettle second one I've had I broke the first one accidentally but this time I was offered accidental insurance for 8.99 I believe and it does cover you if you drop it or break it by accident so I would advise getting this insurance I don't normally bother with insurance except for a car and house but it's worth it with this one very friendly staff excellent service would definitely recommend Argos

I have hard water. I wipe out the kettle frequently. Once a week, or when the limescale does not wipe off any more, I use lemon juice to descale. Fill kettle up to where limescale ends, add 12 shakes of lemon juice and swish around, leave to soak for a few hours, then boil and leave to cool. Wipe out and rinse well with cold water.
