Looks fantastic, works well, but annoying lid
The kettle looks great, it's a nice design revolving around a large glass jug. It boils pretty quickly and the capacity is good. My only niggle is the lid has to be taken off before filling up. I have no idea why they designed it like that as it makes it slightly more clumsy to use. Overall I do like it but I would look for a hinged kettle next time.

A decent kettle
Does what it should, boils exactly water required when needed. No annual maintenance. A decent looking design for a kitchen.

Avoid at all costs. It’s pretty but bad
Now had three of these. Two were warranty replacements because they fail without warning. The last replacement was in January when they refused to provide a new warranty for it. It leaks from a few weeks of use and has now died. I regularly descale and maintain my kettles do that is not the problem. It just stopped working. The switch went down but it did not light and did not heat up. I would avoid at all costs.

Poorly designed lid
Before I used the kettle I tried to remove the filter from the lid. It was stuck tight. I boiled the kettle up twice then attempted to remove the filter again. This time with success but not before having to pull at each side of it before it gave in and came out. And you have to position the lid so that the in-lid filter is next to the spout. As far as boiling water is concerned its great. Would be five stars if not for the lid.

I have had a few of this same Kettle over the years I love it and it boils super quick if you see a little water on the base its just from the steam to auto turn it off when its boiled. I always use filtered water as to minimize the scale build up. as I live in London and we have hard water.I love the light when it boiling as well.

I have hard water. I wipe out the kettle frequently. Once a week, or when the limescale does not wipe off any more, I use lemon juice to descale. Fill kettle up to where limescale ends, add 12 shakes of lemon juice and swish around, leave to soak for a few hours, then boil and leave to cool. Wipe out and rinse well with cold water.
