Stylish glass kettle with blue illumination, fast boiling, and good capacity. Some find the lid tricky to remove and pouring awkward. Noise level varies, with several mentioning it being loud.

Bought this for a second time!
I like this kettle so much that I bought it for a second time....after somehow accidentally cracking the glass pout of my original kettle against my kitchen tap! But as I like it so much I just bought the exact kettle as a replacement. I like the jug shape, the capacity, the see-through glass and the attractive neon-blue light as it boils. And all at a good price.

Very noisy
This kettle lights up nicely but when boiling the noise sounds like an aircraft taking off and can be heard in the next room even with the door closed. The noisiest kettle I have known. It is nice that it's glass. Furs up quickly.

Fast boiling
Fast boiling and illuminating. Ideal for just one cup or a lot of cups. Saves money less boiling, and filters all the hard limescale. Ergonomics perfect.

Ok kettle only issue I have is the nozzle on the front makes pouring a little bit faster and difficult when pouring into hot water bottles

Modern Art!
Love it! I would not have believed I could get so excited about a new kettle! What do I like about it? I like being able to see the water boiling in the blue light. It's like a bit of modern art in my kitchen! Glad I got the white one, it looks and feels so light. One tiny negative is that the lid is a tad difficult to get off with one hand, but all the positives outweigh that. Good that it will boil a single cup of water, since I usually just tip a cup of water into it to make a cup of tea.

I have hard water. I wipe out the kettle frequently. Once a week, or when the limescale does not wipe off any more, I use lemon juice to descale. Fill kettle up to where limescale ends, add 12 shakes of lemon juice and swish around, leave to soak for a few hours, then boil and leave to cool. Wipe out and rinse well with cold water.
Hello Spalding S,

Follow the instructions on the package of descaler.''
