works well; but you can't have a celebrity voice like my old tomtom, which adds a lot to the journey in my opinion; and garmin and argos descriptions refused to mention this. i'd have got a refund, but argos staff never gave me a receipt and walked off and shut a door behind them before i could ask.

Misleading description on website
The Argos website said speed camera data and updates included. They are not. All Argos suggested was to return the satnav for a refund. By the time I discovered the problem I had disposed of the packaging.

Garmin is in my opinion the best satnav currently
This Garmin satnav has great features. Large screen. Voice activation. Bluetooth connection with smartphone for real time route choice. Wi fi capability for updates. I still have my older Garmin which I updated and keep in a second car, they are very accurate and reliable, I've used it with great success across Europe .

I deliver all over the country and needed a satnav that responds to traffic conditions. So far this has worked really well and gives me an accurate live route that minimises delays. Really helpful especially in areas where I do not know the short cuts and ways to avoid traffic problems. Clear display with a lot of information but still understandable at a glance

“ You don’t have to charge the Garmin DriveSmart 76 after just 1 hour of use, but its battery lasts about 1 hour on a full charge. It takes around 1.5 hours to fully charge.
For uninterrupted navigation, keep it plugged into your car—otherwise, it will stop working once the battery runs out. ”

"Power Delivery fast charging is a way some devices can charge quickly over USB. The Garmin recommended output from one of the suggested power sources in the below article is 5W (5V / 1A). Anything used that exceeds this recommendation (E.g. A fast/rapid chargers) will be regulated by the Garmin cable and device. Anything lower may result in a slower charging experience."
