Which? Best Buy
Bought this as it was a Best Buy in Which? magazine. So far I've tried two types of loaf and very happy with results. There are models with more specialist programmes, but this is fine for just baking regular bread.

Very similar to previous models; some costcutting
Basically the same engine as the ?20 year old? Sd253 that this replaced. More plastics than the old one, with no nut and seed dispenser, but essentially the same. I hope I get the same sort of service from the new machine, but somehow I doubt it.

Reliable make
I bought this to replace the old one that had stopped working, very similar I hope it lasts as long, I always make my own bread so they do get used often. I always buy Panasonic.

Perfect
I’ve used this bread maker 10 times in the past 3 weeks and I absolutely love it. It’s so easy to use and makes perfect bread every time. I would definitely recommend this brand of bread maker.

Perfect breamaker, excellent kitchen appliance.
Bought this to replace an older Panasonic breadmaker. I was not disappointed, apart from the enclosed instructions/recipes.

Great mahine, but beware the recipes
Bought this to replace the previous Panasonic Breadmaker (model 2500) which had served us well for many years. It's very nice, similar controls so easy to use. However, don't go by the recipes - they all have TABLESPOONS of sugar, which is completely wrong! I'm using the recipes from the old machine and they work as expected. I shall be writing to them about this when I have a minute. Other than that, I'm very pleased with the new machine.

Poor quality
Very poor. Non stick on bread pan started to blister and flake

Panasonic bread maker
I bought this bread maker a month ago to replace my older version of the Panasonic bread maker. It’s one of the best bread maker on the market I believe.

Easy to use
Only used it for pizza dough so far. It worked efficiently.

No, it just sits on top. It helps if you pour it onto the measuring spoon to avoid gouging a hole in the flour. It works fine, even if left to run overnight.

I replaced my 2500 with the 2510 after the old one died. The new one is very similar and works just as well - its much quieter in fact. However, many if not all of the recipes have the wrong amount of sugar tablespoons instead of teaspoons. I would recommend using recipes from your old machine.

Hi there,
Panasonic SD-B2510WXC Automatic Breadmaker - White.
The power supply for UK: 230 V - 240 V 50 Hz and the power consumption is between 505 W - 550 W.
if the Heating duration is around 1. 5 hours total, and we draw 0. 55 kW, and the electricity rate is £0. 23 per kilo.
Energy used = 0. 55 kW x 1. 5 hours = 0. 825 kWh
times £0. 23= £0. 19 to make one loaf of bread using this unit based on a rate of 23p per kWh. However, as I said, this calculation is not accurate as we don't have a specific heating duration time, and the cost from your Electricity supplier this may vary.
Thank you for using Q and A.
