We tried a cheaper model, which didn't come up to scratch, so went back to Panasonic which we'd used decades ago. It doesn't look as though it's changed much, and it hasn't! It's absolutely as good as ever. Highly recommended.

Panasonic bread maker
The bread maker has been great for the last 2 months. It makes good bread. The little metal spinner doesn't get stuck in to the bread which is great. On the downside, it takes about 4 hours for a bread to be ready and there is no little window to see the bread while it's baking.

This purchase was to replace a Panasonic bread maker which had given great service having been used three times a week over the last 15 years. The new machine is now providing excellent results.

This bread maker is a load of rubbish,I purchased it on Sunday and returned it on Tuesday because it wasn’t working properly, it was turning out loaves that resembled bricks in size and weight.I have vowed never to purchase another Panasonic in my lifetime. Also the previous one wasn’t working properly it had the same problem of turning out bricks.

The power supply for UK: 230 V - 240 V 50 Hz and the power consumption is between 505 W - 550 W.
if the Heating duration is around 1. 5 hours total, and we draw 0. 55 kW, and the electricity rate is £0. 23 per kilo.
Energy used = 0. 55 kW x 1. 5 hours = 0. 825 kWh
times £0. 23= £0. 19 to make one loaf of bread using this unit based on a rate of 23p per kWh. However, as I said, this calculation is not accurate as we don't have a specific heating duration time, and the cost from your Electricity supplier this may vary.
