Fantastic sounds system a great buy
I bought this system a few weeks ago and I’m so pleased I chose this Sonos surround system, easy to connect to the TV, seamless to set up. The sound is absolutely fantastic and brings movies to life with rich deep base and surround sound for an immersive experience. I love the way it integrates seamlessly together and you can use any of the speakers to adjust the volume or your voice or indeed to the TV remote. Can be set up with Alexa or just the Sonos system whichever you prefer. I was worried that maybe speech wouldn’t be clear because I had a previous sound bar which made the sound hard to hear but the clarity on the Sonos system is a different level, really good.

Big Sound in a Deceptively Small Form Factor
Purchased this as an upgrade from an older soundbar/subwoofer combo, and was blown away by how good the Beam Gen2 was in comparison. I was afraid I would miss the subwoofer, but so far that has not been the case at all. For an apartment, the Beam Gen2 is plenty loud, to the point that I have not yet been able to max out the volume for fear of annoying the neighbours. The soundbar retains music and dialogue clarity at even the lowest of settings, and its Dolby Atmos makes movies a delight to watch. I can't wait to add a Sub and Surround speakers for a full experience!

Sonos beam gen2.
This soundbar has massively improved my listening experience.Sounds that are normally lost in the background are brought to the fore. Overall it just makes watching TV more pleasureable.

Yes, you can wirelessly connect a Sonos Beam (Gen 2) soundbar with a Sonos One (Gen 2) speaker within the Sonos system, either by grouping them for multi-room audio or by bonding them to create a full 5.1 surround sound setup. Both products are compatible with the Sonos S2 app.

Please note the Sonos beam does NOT work with android phones - ie you can NOT play music directly from your android device to the beam 2 even through wi-fi. Sonos specifically removed this feature forcing you to pay for online streaming services. Also the set up calibration only works with iphones - not android so your stuck with the out of the box set up. - Beware.

The supplier has advised the following for the Sonos Beam Gen2 Sound Bar - Black:
"You can add Google assistance to the Sonos system. The one main downside is that Google and Sonos will not let you group Sonos speakers with Nest speakers. As a result, you can either play music on your Sonos device or any Nest device but not both simultaneously."
