About this product
The Philips Sonicare Series 3100 Electric Toothbrush in black, featuring Advanced Sonicare Technology is clinically proven to remove 3 times more plaque than a manual toothbrush . Sonicare Technology creates powerful vibrations that drive microbubbles deep between your teeth and along your gums while protecting your gums. You will get one month's worth of manual brushing in just 2 minutes*. 31,000 brush strokes per minute gently clean your teeth, break up plaque and sweep it away for an exceptional daily clean.
This toothbrush has a built-in pressure sensor to detect the pressure you apply, not only warns you but reduces the toothbrush vibrations automatically to help protect your gums. The toothbrush will make a pulsing sound as a reminder to ease off the pressure. 2-minute SmartTimer and 30-second QuadPacer.
The Sonicare electric toothbrush BrushSync technology helps you track how long you've been using your brush head for and how hard you've been brushing. The BrushSync replacement reminder will alert you with a short bleep when it's time to replace it.

My views on the sonicare.
Had this for a couple of weeks now and it's great, the built in timer lets me keep track of how I'm doing (dentist recommends 2 mins which is difficult using an ordinary brush), the sensor lets me know if I'm pressing too hard, the vibrations are a bit strange to start with but soon get used to it so I get a better more hygienic clean and a fresher feel to my mouth. Try one, you wont be disappointed.

Electric toothbrush
Our old electric toothbrush had stopped charging and so we decided s new one was needed. Argos had several to choose from with the added incentive of a good offer on price. The new toothbrush is just what we wanted and the purchase was easy and straightforward.

Nice brush
very useful and effective. the pressure sensor helps to monitor force well and the 30 second notifications help. only complaint is battery life, as have to charge after only a few days of brushing.

Hello AB555,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Philips Sonicare 3100 Electric Toothbrush Black - HX3671/14: The 31,000 brush movements per minute describes only for the brush strokes, while the 62,000 brush movements per minute include strokes and pulsations.
