About this product
Ready for a cleaner, fresher smile every day? The Philips Sonicare Series 3100 Electric Toothbrush delivers a dentist-fresh clean with Advanced Sonicare Technology that creates 31,000 brush strokes per minute to gently break up and sweep away plaque. It features one cleaning mode for daily use, a built-in pressure sensor that reduces vibrations when you brush too hard, and a two-minute SmartTimer with 30-second alerts to guide you around your mouth. The rechargeable battery gives you up to two weeks of use on a full charge.
The pressure sensor protects your gums by automatically reducing vibrations and making a pulsing sound if you apply too much force. BrushSync technology tracks your brush head usage and reminds you when it is time for a replacement with a short bleep. The QuadPacer timer keeps you on track with 30-second alerts so every area gets equal attention, and the two-week battery life means you can travel without the charger. Comes with a ProResults brush head.

Customers Say
Effective, easy-to-use Philips Sonicare toothbrush praised for thorough cleaning, good battery life, and value. Some find vibration strong; replacement heads costly. Smaller handle suits many but not arthritic hands.

Happy customer
I know the replacement heads are pricey but thought I'd give it a go whilst on offer. Not disappointed, feels good and cleans really well compared to my previous model.

Good, basic electric toothbrush
I bought this basic model to replace an older, much more expensive Philips electric toothbrush that had a load of functions that I never used. This model is much cheaper, works well, and makes my teeth feel very clean. It comes with a usb a charger, but was I happy to find that I could still use the shaver type charger from my old toothbrush.

Excellent toothbrush!
My previous Sonicare brush recently broke - I bought it in 2017, so it has lasted well - and I wished to buy a replacement. I don’t need all the ‘bells-and-whistles’ of app. connectivity, and this 3100 series fit the bill for a great price (less than £30). The brush handle is appreciably smaller and lighter than my previous Sonicare, which is good. Overall, an excellent electric toothbrush for the price!

Brilliant toothbrush
I bought this sonic toothbrush as a replacement for my old one. It cleans my teeth really well and I’m really pleased with it. It’s smaller than my last sonic toothbrush so it fits in my travel bag perfectly

Teeth feel much cleaner Vs rotating head electric
Night and day difference between this and a manual toothbrush - feels like I've been to the dental hygienist everytime I brush, everything feels clean and shiny. With the other main electric toothbrush brand (with the rotating heads) it never got my teeth feeling this clean.

Hello AB555,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Philips Sonicare 3100 Electric Toothbrush Black - HX3671/14: The 31,000 brush movements per minute describes only for the brush strokes, while the 62,000 brush movements per minute include strokes and pulsations. In other words, the bristles move back and forth 31,000 times per minute AND up and down 31,000 times per minute, bringing the more accurate description of 62,000 brush movements per minute.
Hope this helps.

Hi Sally,
The Philips Sonicare 3100 Electric Toothbrush White - HX3671/13 does not have 2 modes but there is a built-in pressure sensor that automatically detects the pressure you apply, warns you and reduces the toothbrush vibrations automatically to help protect your gums.
