About this product
The Habitat Rico Bunk Bed gives you two sleeping spaces in one smart frame, that's really handy if you're sharing a bedroom or need room for sleepovers. There's a fixed ladder up to the top bunk, so your little ones can climb up safely for bedtime stories or settle into the lower bunk. The crisp white finish keeps things fresh and works with most bedroom colours. It's solid wood and board design, so it stands up well to daily use. A full-length drawer underneath stores toys, books, clothes or spare bedding, so you've got extra storage right where you need it.
Wall-mounting brackets must be fitted to keep the bed stable and secure, that's really important for bunk beds and keeps everyone safe. The white finish is easy to wipe clean after sticky fingers and everyday marks. Wooden slats support both mattresses properly, no extra base needed. It's suitable for ages six and over, and each bunk holds up to 100kg, so adults can use it too. Assembly requires two people, and everything you need is included. Comes with a one-year guarantee.

Excellent sturdy beds
Really sturdy beds, relatively easy to assemble though some space required - so if trying to assemble in a very small room could be tricky. A lovely blue colour and full size single beds. Very happy with purchase - only minor negative us done areas are a little rough - plan to just go over with fine sandpaper but is minor concern. The trundle drawer is a good useful addition- shallow but full space if the beds do great for shoes, vacuum packed clothes etc

It’s a lovely bed, on the short side, which is fine. Colour is great! The drawer is massive! Although it’s a little hard to open, maybe could do with either more wheels or better ones.

Solid bunkbed
When building the bunkbed you can feel it's extremely secure and well built, the quality feels great. A few things worth noting; there's part numbers missing from a lot of the wooden posts which make building it a bit more of a task. Also the drawer underneath isn't suited to carpet, the bottom of the wheels are mere millimetres lower than the front/rear panels which makes pulling it out a chore. I imagine it's slightly better on hard floor, although I'd be cautious about it dragging/scratching. There is no way to lower the wheels/increase the drawer height as the drawer is a mm perfect fit for the space under the bed.

The Habitat Rico Bunk Bed Frame with Drawer - Pine requires a single size mattress 90cms x 190cms. On the top bunk this should be no more than 16cm thick. No restriction on bottom bunk.
