About this product
The Habitat Rico Bunk Bed Frame With Drawer gives you two sleeping spots in the space of one, ideal for shared bedrooms or guests. It has a sturdy wooden frame that holds up to everyday use, with a fixed ladder to the top bunk and a safety rail around the edge. A wide drawer under the bottom bunk stores spare bedding, toys or other items. The ink blue finish adds a splash of colour and fun. Wooden slats are included, so you only need to add mattresses.
This bed must be attached to a wall for stability, that's really important for keeping everyone safe. The maximum user weight per bunk is 100kg, so it's suitable for kids aged six and over, right through to adults. For the top bunk, use a mattress no deeper than 16cm to keep the safety rail at the right height. There's nearly 80cm of space between the bunks, giving comfortable headroom on the bottom level. Underneath, you can get a hoover or mop in easily. Arrives flat-packed with everything you need, two people recommended for assembly.

Excellent sturdy beds
Really sturdy beds, relatively easy to assemble though some space required - so if trying to assemble in a very small room could be tricky. A lovely blue colour and full size single beds. Very happy with purchase - only minor negative us done areas are a little rough - plan to just go over with fine sandpaper but is minor concern. The trundle drawer is a good useful addition- shallow but full space if the beds do great for shoes, vacuum packed clothes etc

It’s a lovely bed, on the short side, which is fine. Colour is great! The drawer is massive! Although it’s a little hard to open, maybe could do with either more wheels or better ones.

Solid bunkbed
When building the bunkbed you can feel it's extremely secure and well built, the quality feels great. A few things worth noting; there's part numbers missing from a lot of the wooden posts which make building it a bit more of a task. Also the drawer underneath isn't suited to carpet, the bottom of the wheels are mere millimetres lower than the front/rear panels which makes pulling it out a chore. I imagine it's slightly better on hard floor, although I'd be cautious about it dragging/scratching. There is no way to lower the wheels/increase the drawer height as the drawer is a mm perfect fit for the space under the bed.

Awesome features
Purchased this recently and I’m so happy. Great space saver. Now , my girls have more rooms to play and keep their room tidier. They are so excited having their own personal space . Not so hard to assemble ,as long as you have the right tools and follow the instructions . Great stuff

The Habitat Rico Bunk Bed Frame with Drawer - Pine requires a single size mattress 90cms x 190cms. On the top bunk this should be no more than 16cm thick. No restriction on bottom bunk.
