Great small size desk with no fuss! We have now two in our house for our two working from home set ups. Easy to assemble, looks great and I like the feel of the wood on the desk. -1 star because with time the varnish slightly fades away. But would still highly recommend!

Stylish but not all solid oak.
Excellent table. It is not solid oak the top is veneered. I still like the style so I have kept it. It did come slightly damaged and had a small stain on the top...couldn't be bothered to return it so make sure the box is intact as mine had a bump.

The quality of finish is not great
The quality of finish is not great, particularly the edging. I purchased a second desk in the hope that I would get a better one and that was just as bad. There were places where it had been filled.

Perfect size for my home office. Not too big it takes up all the room. Was disappointed as clearly had been a returned item as box was not sealed correctly and screws out of packets. Was lucky all there. Pads for feet not usable as had been stuck to feet and then taken off and all stuck to each other. But I had some at home.

The supplier has advised the following for the Axel Desk - Oak:
At the bottom, the legs are 35mm in diameter. They do taper up to the top where they're 50cm in diameter. If the caps are short enough, this gradual taper should not make enough of a difference to affect it too much.
However, please note that the legs are very slightly angled too, at about 86 degrees on the inner edge. This would mean that, for them to be flat at the bottom for stability, the actual rounded profile of the legs at the bottom won't be exactly circular but it's not enough to make it a full oval.
(Also, we do have to add that any alterations, including the addition of parts to an item, would be at your own risk and any faults or damage arising from the fitting of and use of these caps would affect the item's guarantee).

- Length: 1000mm
- Width: 550mm
The width of the table is not same as the spacing of the legs, it is a bit wider than those.

The Habitat Axel Desk - Oak has a width of 100 cm from the outside of the left legs to the outside of the right legs. This should help you determine if it will fit with your skirting boards.
