About this product
The Vax Air Lift 2 Pet is a corded upright that does a proper job on carpets and hard floors, with VersaClean Technology that agitates and lifts debris of all sizes. It weighs 6.5kg and runs on a 9m power cord, giving you plenty of reach without constantly unplugging. The clever bit is the lift-out design, which means you can detach the main unit and use it as a handheld for stairs, sofas or the car. It's designed for busy homes with pets and kids, and comes with a turbo tool that tackles pet hair and ground-in dirt.
The dustbin holds 1.5l, so you're not emptying it every five minutes, and there's a full indicator to let you know when it needs clearing. The motorised floor head is adjustable and switches between carpets and hard floors easily. You get multi-cyclonic technology that keeps suction strong, plus antimicrobial protection built in. It comes with a crevice nozzle, upholstery nozzle, dusting brush, and turbo brush, plus a 1.65m hose for above-floor cleaning. Works across carpets, hard floors, stairs and upholstery.

Powerful and easy to move
Good product as Vax always us. Very powerful, works well picking up our dogs hair. Detachable so it easy to use in the car etc. Only slight issue is it is difficult to open the top to get to the filter, the older one was a twist lick and was easier

This is only partly true . The post motor filter is not washable and Iv e just bought one. Not happy as it states here they checked with manufacturer and is washable. 1 filter is but not other. Resulting in have to pay out 8 pd avarage on top of hoover price. Vax need to make this clearer. I had one years ago and cos of this ive never bought one since till now on the advise given here ,and find info is wrong.. also attachment missing so think mines going back to argos.
