The Obaby Grace Cot Bed gives you a safe, practical sleeping space that grows with your child from newborn right through to around four years old. It's built from solid wood with open slatted sides so you can check on your little one at any time. Teething rails protect their gums once they start chewing, and you can adjust the mattress base across three different heights as they learn to sit and stand. When they're ready, it converts into a junior bed without fuss. Comes with a firm, hypoallergenic mattress that's water-resistant and fully breathable.
The mattress has a removable cover you can wash when spills or accidents happen. There's space underneath for storage or cleaning, so you're not working around awkward gaps. Only been using it a month with our 6 month old and it seems sturdy enough. Not toddler tested yet but happy with it. Nice colour, doesn't rock or shake like some cots do. A little bit of a pain to put up solo but easy enough to understand instructions. Did have strong smell of paint for about two weeks i must say, but i aired out the room and seems ok now

The Cot Bed is suitable from birth to approximately 4 years old. It would be dependent on the child's development on when the parent thought the child would be safe to transition to a bed. We would not advise a specific age for this, as it is down to the individual.

“ The mattress is water resistant not waterproof which means it delays liquids soaking through the mattress which would allow you time to mop up any accidents or spillages.
The firmer side is best to start with and you turn it over once the little one is able to sit up. ”

“ This can be a little trickier to do on the first try due to the wood been rather tight but about 3/4 of the way down on the head end there is a ridge/split in the wood where the customer can wiggle and pull and this will allow the ends to split apart for the lower ended toddler bed. ”
