About this product
The Obaby Grace Cot Bed grows with your child from newborn sleep to toddler bedtimes. It's designed for use from birth up to approximately four years old, so you won't need to replace it as your little one develops. The open slatted sides let air circulate freely and give you a clear view of your baby. Teething rails protect the wood and your baby's gums once they start to chew. The three-position mattress base adjusts as your child learns to sit and stand, keeping them safe at every stage.
The cot converts into a junior bed when your child is ready to move on from cot sides, extending its useful life. A firm mattress is included, with a water-resistant, breathable, hypoallergenic fibre core and a removable washable cover. The warm grey finish works well in modern and traditional nurseries. There's space underneath for storage baskets or cleaning. Self-assembly required with all fixings provided. Comes with a two-year manufacturer's guarantee.

So far so good
Only been using it a month with our 6 month old and it seems sturdy enough. Not toddler tested yet but happy with it. Nice colour, doesn't rock or shake like some cots do. A little bit of a pain to put up solo but easy enough to understand instructions. Did have strong smell of paint for about two weeks i must say, but i aired out the room and seems ok now

The Cot Bed is suitable from birth to approximately 4 years old. It would be dependent on the child's development on when the parent thought the child would be safe to transition to a bed. We would not advise a specific age for this, as it is down to the individual.

“ The mattress is water resistant not waterproof which means it delays liquids soaking through the mattress which would allow you time to mop up any accidents or spillages.
The firmer side is best to start with and you turn it over once the little one is able to sit up. ”

“ This can be a little trickier to do on the first try due to the wood been rather tight but about 3/4 of the way down on the head end there is a ridge/split in the wood where the customer can wiggle and pull and this will allow the ends to split apart for the lower ended toddler bed. ”
