Perfect for me
It is a very good and sturdy flask which doesn't leek and hand has good insulation. I like the ability to pour a cup without undoing the lid all the way.

Very Hot Tea after 5 hours
Bought this last week to replace our old one that accidentally got thrown away in a recent house move. We used it the day after we bought it, the tea was in for approximately 5 hours before we had a drink, no leaks and comfortable in hand for ease of pouring, and seems quite sturdy, the tea was so hot we had to wait until it cooled down a bit, so all in all, it was a good purchase especially the fact I used my nectar points so it only cost 50p, no complaints from me. I would recommend buying this flask

Durability Ergonomics entirely due to manufacturer NOT Argos. Excellent product available elsewhere.

It is a very good price. Keeps water nice and hot. Quite fragile if it gets knocked over, so be careful. Lightweight, 2 Drinking cups.

Good Basic Large Capacity Flask
Good basic design, and performs/seals well so far (a week after being purchased). Large 1.8L capacity is brilliant - not only for outdoor picnics but also for retaining hot water heated via solar panels to provide hot water in the evenings. Appears as durable as previous similar flask whose life of 7/8 years was only cut short by a freak accident.

Soon as I put hot water in it it completely shattered

Unfortunate - refund
On the third day, it exploded in my mum's bag. A loud bang and the glass inside had shattered. Had she opened it she would have had serious injuries. She also could have drank the glass shards. I must highlight, she was using it as suggested and intended

Hi Priya,
Yes, you can put hot milk in the Thermos Mondial Flask - 1.8L. However, it’s important to note that milk can spoil if left at warm temperatures for too long. To ensure safety and freshness, it’s best to consume the hot milk within 4-6 hours.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hello Gus,
The supplier has advised the following for the Thermos Mondial Flask - 1.8L:
The length of time a flask will stay hot is dependent on many factors and the process you take prior to filling it. For longer heat retention, flasks need to be preheated with boiling water for at least 5 minutes. You’d pour this water away and then the liquid you wish to keep in it must be quickly poured in piping hot immediately after, ideally from a microwave or kettle. Please note that adding cold milk for tea or coffee will quickly reduce the temperature. The flask should also be filled to the right up so as to ensure there's minimum air space.
As soon as it is then opened, it will cool as cold air will then get in. This shouldn’t be an issue if you use all of the contents upon the first opening. If not, you’ll find that, each time it is opened, it will be a little cooler.
The ambient temperature during the time the flask is still sealed will affect the performance too; very cold air at the location you're keeping it in will cause it to cool sooner.
Because of these factors, it is impossible for us to guarantee a specific temperature, or be exact on how long it’ll remain hot for. Also, unless you’re referring to the water being freshly boiled and poured straight in, it’d depend how hot the water is when it first goes in. Typically, boiling water when poured in will have a temperature of around 90 degrees or so. If left unopened, a Flask advising “Hot for 24 hours” would typically be around 45-50 degrees after this period if all the processes above were followed, but much depends on the ambient environment.
Thank you for using Q&A.
