About this product
The Vax Glide 2 is a proper all-in-one for hard floors, washing, extracting and drying in one go. It's cordless, running for up to 20 minutes on the 4Ah battery, and at 5.4kg it's light enough to push around without much effort. The full-width motorised brush rolls get right across the floor in fewer passes, and the large 1l tanks mean you're cleaning for longer before you need to stop and refill or empty.
It works across sealed laminate, wood and tile floors, and the advanced brush system tackles spills, sticky patches and general dirt build-up. The HEPA filter traps fine dust and allergens, and it comes with a 4Ah ONEPWR battery, slide charger, 250ml Vax hard floor solution, and a cleaning and storage tray. It runs at around 86 decibels, so it's a bit louder than a standard vacuum but typical for a wet and dry cleaner. Easy to manoeuvre with a swivel head, and the tray keeps everything tidy when it's not in use.

Disappointed. I bought the Vax Glide a month ago after reading everybody else's reviews. I ideally thought this machine would be a game changer for me. I was looking for something that would hoover my tiled floors them wash them after after I got tired of constantly sweeping my Kitchen. The battery life is fine you get a good hour after a charge. The hoover and the suction are fine although you cant get fully under the corners in them nuts and crannies of your Kitchen units. Once I have emptied the filter if it is slightly wet the machine will not go into wash mode it constantly says the filter is full. When you do come to washing your floor, the machine leaves streaks and does not suck all the water. Leaving you to mop the areas it hasn't dried. Back to the sweeping brush & mop bucket!

Impressive Cleaner!
Very impressed so far with this machine, easy to set up and simple to use and clean down afterwards. Effective cleaning when used slowly and with care, extra 'drying' strokes needed on occasion to remove excess water, but this is not an issue. Stubborn dried on splash marks need extra help to remove. So much easier than traditional map/squeegee methods :) Haven't used it on large wet spills, so can't comment on how effective this is in cleaning up and cleaning the machine down afterwards.

Would not recomed. Battery lasts max 20min. Had to get extra battery. Quite heavy and I'm fairly physically strong. Would get one with the cord. Not with batteries.

Excellent product.
Excellent product, arrived well package. Slightly different to the earlier mode. Some good and others not so good. I miss the turbo setting for spot treatment on dirtier areas. Comes with a second roller. You probably won't need it as my last one wore out the motor before a new roller was required.

Very disappointed.
Used the machine for the first time last Sunday, and was not at all impressed. Lot of residual water and dirt left on all my tiled floors, resulting in very messy streaking. I needed to mop after using this machine, which is not acceptable. Machine has no scrubbing facility/performance, which is surely not acceptable for a tiled kitchen floor. Tried to use the machine for a second time this morning and it shuts down after ten seconds, saying that the dirty water tank is full - it is empty !! Your software won't accept/upload a video. Please arrange for this machine to be collected, as when working as it should, it will not do what is expected of it. Removed dirty water tank and re-installed twice, to no avail. Had to mop the floor again !!

I was very disappointed with this product it doesn’t do what it says it tickles the floor more than scrubbing it. They need someone on there design team which actually has done some cleaning. Waste of money unless ur floor is clean in the first place. Contact me if you want some better ideas

Brilliant !!
My old vax glide died after 7 years ..so I bought the Glide 2 …. It is fabulous!! So many features which we absent on my older model. Love the new tray, the self cleaning feature, the two brush system instead of one . In short this is a much superior machine…even cleans right up to the edge !!
