Rust-Oleum Furniture Lacquer
Bought to protect newly painted wardrobes. Took the advice of mixing a bit of the paint colour in with the varnish and it worked very well. Very happy with the end product.

Great lacquer
Bought to go over chalky paint. Didn't want the gloss finish. This was great and dried quickly.

Excellent product
Easy to use and quick drying. Goes on flawlessly I was t left any obvioush brush strokes. I built up the lacquer coating which looks white in in but dries clear so easy to see where it’s applied,nice thin coats which enabled me to apply several coats which still allowed the colour underneath to be the star. Goes on Matt so doesn’t alter appearance of the colour underneath. Has protected my kitchen doors and drawers from knocks and spills. I had used a different lacquer that made my doors shiny and didn’t protect well which meant I had to start over so I was delighted when the Rust-oleum lacquer did exactly as stated. Already used it on other projects and can’t see me changing from it any time soon. Highly recommend.

Great product
I've been using this product for some time for furniture and art projects. It's easy to use, goes a long way and is water soluble. No yellowing either, so the colours stay true.

Lovely top coat paint
Bought this to go over my painted black stair rail to stop paint chipping it seams to be doing the job, goes on white but drys. Clear, did 2 coats as it says great buy so far

Done exactly what it says on the tin
I bought this product to use with the same make furniture paint.very pleased with results on a light colour no colour change at all would definitely recommend for any project.

Poor paint
After applying over Rust-Oleum Chalk furniture paint the result was terrible. Yellow and blotchy. Definitely would not recommend. Wasted hours having to remove and start again using a totally different part!

Discolouring
I am disappointed with this product. I have painted and lacquered several pieces of furniture before, without problems, but this product, on top of white chalk paint, discolours. A yellowish stain was left on the white paint, which I had to paint over.
