I bought this to use with a floor lamp - it’s a lovely colour but it lets barely any light through so I think it’s best for a table lamp somewhere where you’re not relying on the light from it.

The maximum 10W is for an LED light; a 10W LED bulb can be approximately equivalent to an old 100W incandescent bulb in terms of the light it gives out, so is potentially very bright (depending on the lumens and colour of the bulb) and is far more energy efficient as well as much longer lasting.
