Browns evenly only downside with some sliced bread doesn’t fit in but this seems to be a problem with a lot of toasters.

Great apart from browning too long.
Super toaster! The only drawback is that the browning time is too long, so I have to leave it on the lowest setting (1), and even then sometimes have to press the cancel button to make it pop up earlier. However, it has lovely wide slots, and the cancel button means you never have to force the toast out in a hurry if it's getting burned! Also the exterior is steel, the toaster is very compact, and looks great!

The mechanism for lowering the slices and engaging the toasting mechanism feels lightweight and not very reassuring. Of course, it may last 20 years, but it doesn't feel as if it will.

A standard slice of bread does not fit into this toaster, a bit sticks out. If you cut the top off one end of the slice you can put it in sideways to toast. My Warburton bread wouldnt fit.
