Good looking and makes great toast. Would like the handle which lowers the toast to be larger and more substantial. Feels a bit flimsy. Also the numbers on the dual aren’t visible.

Morphy Richards 222066 2 Slice Toaster Red
I bought this in October 2025 to replace another manufacturer's toaster that had blown. The toaster is very easy to use out of the box with illuminated function button controls, a black centre up/down slider button and a black selector switch for the toasting time. It brightens the kitchen worktop being a change from the standard silver types owned previously. One quirk I've noticed when toasting crumpets is that the mechanism doesn't always eject the crumpets to the top of the machine, as though they have become stuck in the slots and so have to be removed using the up/down slider and fingers. However, I have had no trouble with normal slices of bread or the bread crusts and rarely have crumpets anyway so it wasn't a deal breaker.

Not fit for purpose.
Can’t be used above setting number 1 and even then it either leaves one side of bread barely touched and the other incinerated. Otherwise it just totally burns everything. Absolutely useless and a potential fire hazard. Cheap junk that anyone has the cheek to produce and market.

Only toasts on one side and then need to take out and do the other side. Buttons very flimsy worried will break easily. Crumbs fall out on to work top because narrow design. Looks good! But I guess good for price!
