Easy to use
I bought this a couple of weeks ago to use while sewing, it is light, bright and easy to move so the light is shining where you need it. It looks clean and modern. The staff in the Sunderland store were very helpful

superb light, buyer a bit dim...
only not 4* as I'd thought i was buying the rechargeable one not a corded one... so really i should deduct a star from myself... but the cord is just a little too short for being 5*. Apart from that, a fine bit of kit.

Soft touch feature too erratic
Read the reviews before buying , seemed ideal for my needs . Returned the first one as the soft touch didn’t appear to be working correctly. The second one is exactly the same . The light doesn’t come on with the touch then will come on and quickly go off again . It’s hit and miss to get the light to stay on without switching itself off but when it does it’s a great little light .

Bright lamp for close work
Bright daylight lamp, for close work or reading, or to shine into a dark corner or cupboard. Head is easy to adjust and point. However it needs to be plugged in as it doesnt seem to charge up.

The lamp can not be left in the on position. Once switched off by the timer, you would need to touch the lamp again for it to come on.

No, when you plug the lamp in it does not come on. You have to touch the button.
For most people this is fine. If you have a smart home plug, this is no use as you cant automate the light.
