I bought this as a last minute purchase as I had a birthday coming up and it does the job. Its speed is perfect and for the price you can’t go wrong. It’s not as good as the standing mixer but honestly it’s not far off.

Great little, lightweight mixer for the money. Slowest setting is a perfect start- have had other mixers that make such a mess as don't start slow enough. Used 3 times, still smells new but expect this to settle. Easy to pop mixers off

Difficult to clean
Not as good as my old hand mixer which I had since the eighties. Shorter and a bit flimsy. But worst of all the actual whisks are hard to clean as they have a central bit which my old one didn't have. It can go faster though.
