This is the second tp-link wifi adapter I've purchased and I'm generally pleased with it. It occasionally seems to drop connection when the computer is in standby mode. A quick restart resolved it.

Great purchase. Worked straight out of box.
Desktop computer was connected to router via Ethernet cable. Since the router had to be moved we discovered the wireless card in the computer was not working for some reason. After trying resets etc. nothing worked. Bought this on click and collect and within 1 hour we were up and running straight out of the box. No other set up required. Just plugged into a USB port and it just found our WiFi straight away. Very happy with service and purchase.

Hello San,
No, it is not officially compatible out of the box, but it can be made to work perfectly using free third-party open-source drivers.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello Pete,
The TP-Link Archer T3U AC1300 USB WiFi Adapter is designed only for Windows and macOS computers and will not work with a Hitachi V15867992 TV.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Ben,
Unfortunately, this is not recommended. The Archer T3U is designed specifically for use with computers, and its official drivers are built for computer operating systems. Drivers compatible with other devices — such as gaming peripherals like a steering wheel — are not available.
If you're looking to add wireless connectivity to a PC for gaming purposes, the Archer T3U would work great as a Wi-Fi adapter for your computer. However, it cannot be used directly with a gaming steering wheel or similar non-computer devices.
Thanks for using Q&A.
