About this product
This rotary airer makes drying your washing outdoors simple and flexible, with a crank handle that lets you adjust the height to suit you. You can load it up at a comfortable level and hoist it higher to catch the breeze, so there's no awkward stretching or bending. It gives you 60m of drying space, which is plenty for busy households, and the steel construction is fully painted to resist rust and last through seasons of use. When you're done, you can lift it out of the ground socket and free up your garden space.
The ground socket needs setting into the ground with concrete to keep everything stable when the airer's up and loaded. There's a steel central pole that's 50mm across, and the whole thing weighs 7.5kg. The turning circle when it's fully open is 2.96m, so you'll need a bit of room, but it's worth it for the drying capacity. Instructions come with it, and there's a five-year guarantee from the manufacturer. It's a practical, long-lasting way to dry clothes outside without taking over your garden permanently.

Brilliant
I bought this washing line a month ago because my old one had broken in half. Well, what can I say, this is the best washing line I have ever bought!! So much space to hang my clothes as a family of 4 with 2 girls, I have a lot of washing!!! Is has a great feature where you can wind it down to keep it in place to stop it spinning while hanging out the clothes and then wind it up higher to get the air for your clothes. My mum even bought one, she loved it that much!!!

Last one lasted over ten years.
Collected within 30 mins of ordering, dug hole to specifications listed in product packaging, 4 days later and up without issue. Last product lasted over ten years, extra height excellent, lots of hanging space, easy to take down and store. I would recommend this. Value for money.

Very stable
Really good quality very easy to put up and down with the winding handle. For the price it's a shame it doesn't have a cover.

Brilliant Rotary Airer - would highly recommend.
The Vileda Rotary Line is perfect for all the family washing. It is very strong and so easy to raise it with the crank handle. It can hold a large amount of clothes and it's very stable. It is also rust-resistant and a great price. I would highly recommend purchasing this product.

This airer is unlikely to fit a standard Vileda socket due to its larger 50 mm pole. Using the supplied socket is the most reliable option.

Hi there,
The Vileda 60 Metre Super Dry Hoist Rotary Airer has a steel pole, bear in mind this will not be solid steel as it contains the raising and lowering mechanism.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Eli,
The height of the lowest line when fully raised is 187cm. The crank handle can be turned to lower the line allowing it to be easier to hang clothes at a lower height and then heighten the line for drying.
