About this product
The Habitat Max 6 Drawer Tallboy sorts your storage without taking up precious floor space, that's really handy if you're working with a smaller bedroom. It's made from oak and oak veneer with a light natural oiled finish that lets the wood grain show through and adds warmth to your room. Six deep drawers give you plenty of room for folded clothes, bedding or whatever you need tucked away. The narrow build fits neatly into tight spots where wider units won't go, so it's ideal for first homes or compact bedrooms.
Wall fixings are included and must be used to secure the tallboy safely to the wall, that's really important because it's over 60cm high and prevents tipping. The drawers are generous inside, so you can store bulkier items without cramming things in. Self-assembly's needed, and it's easier with two people, all the fixings and instructions are provided. It comes with a one-year guarantee for peace of mind.

Solid set of drawers
Solid and smart set of drawers. My husband put them together fairly easily and commented on the fact that there is some solid wood that makes them nice and heavy and not just the mdf that you get elsewhere.

Lego for Grown-ups
Was trying to match other pieces bought a few years ago. Perfect size for the space we had, shame the colour is slightly darker than the originals. Originals were pre-assembled, this came flat-packed but my 12 year old grandson did most of the work with a bit of guidance: "like Lego for grown-ups." Straightforward, but took us a couple of hours

If I could mark it as a no stars I would. Awful unreadable instructions. I am also not the only one to make this comment. I should have read the comments before purchasing. I am having to pay for a carpenter to come and re-configure the rollers as they do not fit properly. Poorly made. I would send it back but the thought of taking it all apart and trying to get it back in a very tight fitting box is not something I want to do. I had to re-build this 3 times because of the poor instructions - not detailed enough. Never had this problem before with any flat packed furniture I have bought.

Disappointed
The drawers looked like they would be great and we have been very happy with a wardrobe in same range, for years now. Unfortunately, however, the fittings bag had been ripped open and some fittings were missing, making it impossible to construct the drawers. On contacting customer services, was told missing fittings are now out of stock. Awaiting collection and refund, I'm really sad to say.

Nice, quality and solid unit
I already have a larger cupboard from the same Max range which I'd bought many years ago, so the style is quite timeless. The wood is solid and build is very sturdy. It does take a lot of effort to assemble (at least 1.5-2 hours). It's just a right size for putting away small items such as my son's toys in the living room.

Thanks for your query about the Max Oak Tallboy.
Having checked, as these Max Wardrobes (both the 2-door and 3-door versions) have internal shelves and vertical panels splitting them up, it’s not going to fit inside. Also, this is not designed to go inside another unit and those units are not designed to have this unit inside them so we’d advise against trying to put one inside the other.
