Bought this to replace our well used over many years Murphy Richard’s kettle. I tend to stick to same brand if they have lasted well. So I replaced old kettle with a new Murphy Richard’s kettle which I know will give us many years of boiling water for our Tea and coffee. I don’t give five stars for products easily. Does what it says on the label heats up water rapidly. Great kettle for the price. HAPPY CUSTOMER

We can confirm that the Equip kettle will stop heating and turn off once it has boiled. The kettle is cordless with a 360° base and is designed to automatically switch off after boiling for safety.
If the kettle is lifted off the base during boiling, the heating will stop and power will be cut while it is off the base. However, for safety reasons, we do not recommend removing the kettle from the base while it is boiling. It is always advised to allow the kettle to fully boil and switch off automatically before removing it from the base.
