Our kettle packed in on New Years Eve so Argos came to the rescue with this very neat Morphy Richards Equip kettle. Just the ticket for a New Year's Day brew. Very neat, efficient design that goes perfectly with the rest of my kitchen decor. Quick to boil too. What's not to like?

Good but Basic
I'm disappointed that this kettle has no internal light or water level measure. Also it's difficult to see a low level of water through the "window" even when it's turned on.. (I live alone so prefer to boil as little as possible for a cuppa.) However it seems study and I expect it to lasts longer than my previous one which was rather fancy and expired after only18 months!

We can confirm that the Equip kettle will stop heating and turn off once it has boiled. The kettle is cordless with a 360° base and is designed to automatically switch off after boiling for safety.
If the kettle is lifted off the base during boiling, the heating will stop and power will be cut while it is off the base. However, for safety reasons, we do not recommend removing the kettle from the base while it is boiling. It is always advised to allow the kettle to fully boil and switch off automatically before removing it from the base.
