lovely gift if you child loves purple colour
My child likes purple colour and this watch was a perfect addition to her set of purple stuff. The watch and the packaging it came in were of high quality and style of presentation. The secondary digits (date, day, month) appearing in the three circles in the top row are tiny for an adult's eye but may not be a problem to children. The buttons are responsive and smoother to operate. It is straightforward digital watch that can be worn to school without any worries - no fancy smart features means no moral and legal issues taking it anywhere. Battery access should be easy as the backside case could be easily unscrewed. Nevertheless, I have advised the child not to use the light functionality often.

All Lorus digital watches are 100M WR so are suitable to use for swimming. However, it is not recommended to use the mode buttons while swimming as this could lead to water getting in.

all Lorus watches have stainless steel backs, and pin and buckles.

it is a buckle and must be nickel free as I am allergic to nickel and have had no reaction when wearing it
