The Vax Compact Power Upright Carpet Cleaner is built for high traffic areas and smaller spaces where spills and pet messes happen. Weighing under 6kg, it's the lightest carpet washer in the Vax range, which means you can carry it up and down stairs with ease. The rotating AQUASPIN brush bar tackles tough stains and ground-in dirt, leaving carpets looking clean and fresh. The narrow floorhead gets into tight corners and along edges, and the compact design makes it easy to tuck away when you're done.
The clean water tank and dirty water tank give you enough capacity to do a few rooms before refilling, and there's a safety cut-out indicator that tells you when the dirty tank is full. It's a corded model with plenty of reach, so you're not constantly switching sockets. The carry handle makes it easy to move between rooms, and it sucks up spills as well as cleaning carpets. Suitable for carpets, and comes with cleaning solution included.

Ive bought this recently. And only used it twice but loving it. It's compact so light to push unlike previous one which was also great but found it tough to push as im older and this one gets into smaller spaces too

It's fine, easy to assemble, the water temperature has to be 40 degrees which you have to guess, so maybe you use a lower temperature to be on the safe side, I'd like th water to be as hot as possible tho .... with the maintenance you have to actually unscrew 6 screws at the bottom of machine, then take out the brush, then put back it in and add the screws again? It's easy to do but did surprise me?, that this was the only was to remove the debris?, Anyway it performs well.

I definitely recommend ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Excellent little carpet cleaner ~ easy to set up and use. Lives up to Vax's good reputation. Needs surprisingly little of the cleaning liquid thats included. I'm really pleased I bought this model as it works very effectively and is fairly lightweight.

Very good buy.
Had it about three weeks. Did not want to review until I had used it a few times. I already had the grown up version which I think is called the sovereign but found it too heavy to manage and was willing to do without the bells and whistles for something I could lift. Turns out this is just as good, light enough to lift over the sink and I am totally delighted. Very good job for very little effort on my part and totally affordable. Stuff to look out for: use an extension lead because the one provided would not reach from my central point the hall into the rooms without stopping and moving plug. Annoying. Pay attention to instructions regarding using warm water. Be prepared to hate yourself for what it extracts from your carpet. Do not clean over a sink with no plug unless you want to clog up with dog hairs and sand. Only thing I hated was the same as the bigger version - you can see the hair etc through the transparent front clogged on to the brushes. Personally I do not want to bother with screw drivers to take plate off so I took to floating them off by filling it with water. Bit of a pain. I am absolutely delighted with this machine and only took one point off because of the screws. I am 74 year old woman and it is light enough for me to lift to the sink and simple enough to understand without the help of a passing school child. Well done vax.

Great buy
I bouight this a week ago to clean after decorating. I chose this model as it was small and lightweight and as my Vax vacuum cleaner is brilliant, went for the same. I was not disappointed. Very easy to put together and use and perfect for cleaning the smallest of areas. I would definitely recommend.

No, it does not heat the water. The clean water tank should be filled with warm water (max 40°C) only.
Filling the clean water tank with hot or boiling water will damage the machine and invalidate the guarantee.
