About this product
The Habitat Nomad Console Table gives you a spot for keys, post and everyday bits that works in tight hallways and narrow spaces. It's slim enough to tuck behind a sofa or against a wall where a wider table won't fit. Black metal legs give it a sturdy base, while the oak wood-effect surface and storage bring warmth and character. Two drawers slide open smoothly on metal runners, so you've got somewhere to stash your odds and ends out of sight. The open shelf underneath holds decorative boxes, books or anything else you want to keep close to hand.
The black metal handles pair nicely with the legs, keeping the look consistent and easy to grip. The wood-effect finish wipes clean after dusty days or minor marks. It'll hold up to 50kg, so there's enough strength for lamps, photo frames, and whatever else you want on show. The compact depth means it doesn't jut out into walkways or living areas. Self-assembly's needed, and it's easier with two people to help. Comes with a one-year guarantee for peace of mind.

A nice piece of furniture, good quality materials.
Really good quality materials and a nice piece of furniture which I am very happy with. Only criticism is that the instruction were hard to follow, the odd sticker on pieces that are very similar would have been helpful.

Nice self assembly side unit
Easy to put together and decent quality. Fits the space we needed it to perfectly. Took around 1 hour to build with 2 people. We also have the matching side unit in our hall, also good quality.

Good for the price
Delivery was on time. Lovely solid piece of wood. Be aware instructions are vague and some of the pre drilled Holes were not well aligned! But if you’re good with DIY you’ll be fine.

Happy with it
Fills the space very nicely but allow time to assemble quite complex for what it is

It’s a bugger to assemble
Good product but instruction sheet hard to decipher. In particular the diagram re drawer runners is too small to interpret and some of the measurements noted are incorrect! I’m usually pretty good with this stuff but check everything twice. I put one runner on backwards and had to disassemble whole unit to access removal screws!!!

Nice furniture, bad flatpack
It is a lovely piece of furniture, as per images and generally the materials are decent quality (coated particle board is very solid). However, the metal frame had holes drilled in completely the wrong place so one of the sides of the table isn’t fully secured. Also one the least clear instruction manuals I’ve seen for flat pack (and I’ve see many).

Hi there
Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know it is made of particle board with oak effect paper foil
Thanks for using Q & A
Hi there
Only items from the same range will be a 100% colour match - and so an oak item of furniture may not match an oak effect item unless they both have the same brand name in the title
Thanks for using Q & A
Hi Gigi,
Thanks for your query about the Nomad Console Table - Oak.
This is "oak" in shade and this is a mid-tone wood colour, usually tending towards a brownish-orange in colour.
