Works well and easy to use
My petrol mower seized in spectacular fashion after 35 years service. The cheapest in that range start at £400, for mine £600 or more and £200 every two or three years for a service. So I went electric, a unit costing less than one service only has to last a few years to payoff. This one although plastic is quite rigid and able to withstand a bash or two. Cuts well and leaves a stripe although not quite as good as my petrol driven lump of metal. Assembly is OK, box was a little tricky but fits together everyone lually- needs patience. Not accustomed to the wire yet so being careful with that. I like the handle it’s robust and I felt in control, wasn’t sure about the need for the angle mechanism, but once Iworked out how to use it, it was good for those edges with overhanging shrubs, keeps the mower going straight without getting a face full shrub. Its also nice and light with a wider cut than most mowers. Yes happy with that and recommend.

Decent quality
Does the job, cuts and collects well. Feels a bit flimsy but nothing has broken.

Delighted with my purchase!
Wanted a powerful (1800w) mower with a rigid plastic grass container instead of the fabric ones which seem increasingly common. Despite searching the internet for options and suppliers, this was the only mower which met my requirements and also got good reviews. Argos offered the most competitive price, so I ordered. The grass box is a bit tricky to assemble, would have been easier with a partner to help, but I managed alone in about 30 mins. The mower is strong and rugged and makes fast work of my lawn. The 15m long cable is a bonus!

Not that great
Seals opened, wheels dirty and I was told still first hand. Ordered another one - still the same. Used once sofar. Handle sits on to machine with no locking. Kept coming off at corners.

Good lawn mower on sale price
I am happy so far, with it having mowed the lawn 3 times. Easy enough to put it together and storage box is large enough so I don’t need to do multiple runs to the bin on each mow. Light weight but sturdy and the handle movement seems useful although a bit of getting used to. I got it on offer as well so seems like a good deal.
