I bought this to make chips. I was fed up using a knife to chop the potatoes. This device is simple and does the job.
It's a good idea to cut a flat surface on the potato so it can stand up straight - then squash the device down to make chips.
It save a lot of time and does the job without being expensive. A good buy!

The square holed/chip part is difficult to use, not sharp enough so takes a lot of energy to get it through, and it doesn't cut all the way down to the bottom so gets stuck.
