A bit pricey but worth it, as a lot of laptop stands aren’t the right size for larger gaming laptops and won’t support the weight but this one does 👍 very pleased with it.

It works, but not suitable for cooling a laptop
The power of the main fan is not sufficient to have any benefit to overheating laptops. It's a good tray though, so your coffee certainly has a steady platform and the fan won't have any effect on the temperature, or indeed any hot food or beverage you might use it for.

This laptop cooling stand can also be connected to a wall outlet by using a power adapter suitable for USB. This adapter is the same device that is used to charge smartphones.

This does use USB-A, you're descripting USB-C type ports. You will be able t use it however you may need to use a USB-C to USB-A (female) adapter.

After checking with the manufacturer I can confirm that this Trust GXT1125 QUNO Laptop Cooling Stand is predominately used for laptops, but I don't see why it couldn't be also used for a tablet the only problem would probably be the tablet might not be able to power the cooling fans.
