This a great watch for the money, reliable sturdy, good value etc. only downside is the date function changes to the next day at random intervals so have to keep adjusting it; otherwise a great purchase

Great Tough Watch
Bought this to as an exact replacement for my current watch, which lasted years and years of total abuse. Finally the strap collar broke and the battery died. Cud of had all repaired/sorted but decided to pay for it to be replaced as it will last me many many years of abuse.

Rock solid
This is my second. Can’t think how old the previous one was, but it took a lot of abuse and kept going, however some if the buttons were getting difficult to use and then it just stopped. Decided on another G shock but couldn’t find any that looked as good as this one. LCD numbers are a bit hard to read unless in direct light, but the backlight is good. Dial and hands are luminous, not bright but thy do glow.

On your Casio G-100-1BVMUR watch, you are able to view the watch in the dark using the backlight, to switch between modes, you will need to press the mode button, e.g. From the calendar mode, when you press the mode button once, you will enter the timekeeping mode.
