Nice design but with some build quality issues
I'm really pleased with the internal design on this freezer, and it operates very quietly. However, there are a couple of build issues; 1). The control of filling of the sides with insulation is very poor... in fact my freezer is 1cm wider at mid-height than it is at the top or the bottom. The sides bulge and are uneven when sited against a worktop edge. Now, I bought this freezer together with a matching fridge, which also has the same issues - So how on earth is anyone meant to place them side by side to form an ultrawide fridge freezer like it is shown in the promotional pictures!? Luckily we bought these simply to match whilst placed in different parts of the kitchen, so we don't have that problem... it's just that the bulging sides look unsightly and are noticeable against the adjacent units. 2). The door is so hard to open that the freezer actually moves when the door is pulled hard enough to open it. I'm not sure whether this is due to excessive magnetism on the seal, or internal vacuum of the cold air that has no way of equalising or venting to allow the door to open. Either way it is ridiculous... and the matching fridge is almost as bad. I'll give it some time to see if the matter improves, but it may need a small vent in the top edge of the seal to allow equalisation.

Smart quality and well designed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a freezer that contained lots of storage, easy to use, looked modern and will work in garages. This ticks those boxes. Firstly the freezer comes well packed and easy to install. You can install it in a cabinet internally instead of just having it freestanding which is excellent. The colour and style of the front makes it quite easy to display in most kitchens. There is wifi available for it which you can use to monitor it and you can run checks too. I really like the app alerts you if you leave the door open, a must have for anyone that is Deaf and cannot hear the alarm. There is a feature that allows you to run it as a fridge, I don't have a need for this, but could be useful if plans change or this becomes a spare to a new model. Inside, you get half of the storage in drawers and half as shelves. I found this very useful, the drawers are deep and can easily hold a lot, they don't get stuck from ice build up either as there isn't any. The shelves are great for larger items too, one excellent example would be frozen turkey at christmas! I used the size to store large pizzas. The shelves are also a great idea to store items that are open so you don't lose them within the drawers either as they are easy to see. Overall I find the freezer very good. I have no issues with ice build up, there is simply none. It's very neat, modern and well designed. The wifi app is useful. I like that it happy to be in garages as it is rated for up to minus 15 degrees outside temperature so I know my food will be safe. I would even consider a fridge version of it.

Not much to complain with this large freezer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been really pleased with this freezer so far. It's a hefty appliance with a reassuring weight to it and feels well made and solid. The large door is reversible, which is a nice touch if you ever need to swap the hinges to suit your kitchen layout. There's plenty of storage space inside, with a good mix of shelves and drawers, so it's easy to organise everything. The Super Freeze function is useful when you want to quickly freeze newly added food. It also has an app you can connect to, although personally I found that a bit gimmicky for a freezer and haven't really needed it. One feature I do really like is that it can be used as either a freezer or a fridge (just not both at the same time). If your needs change, you can switch the whole appliance over, which makes it much more versatile than a standard freezer. The only slight downside is that the door is quite stiff to open, but I imagine that's to be expected on a large freezer with a good seal. Overall, it's a versatile, well-built appliance that does exactly what it should, and I'd happily recommend it.

Spacious and Simple
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer has been a welcomed addition to our household, we purchased it to allow us to batch cook meals for the family across breakfast, lunch and dinner. Usually this sort of task is perfect for a chest freezer and though they are more efficient, an upright is much more convenient. The shelf space is generous in this model and lots of food containers can be stacked and easily viewed, the lighting makes identifying the contents easy and the metal and glass design on the inside and brushed metal on the outside is a big improvement over the large white chests. The door opens simply but requires a bit of strength because the seal is quite strong (not necessarily a bad thing) and it will blend in very well once its final home is ready. It's not loud at all and even pairing it to the app was very straightforward and allows you to set and monitor the temperature remotely as well as set eco mode or super freeze. It does exactly what you need and nothing else.

Very happy with this tall freezer
This was a replacement for another tall freezer that failed after less than 3 years, not this make. We chose Hisense as it fitted exactly where we wanted it to and had major features, like super freezer, ability to use an app to change things Also, the control panel in on the front, so it negates the need to open the door to change any settings. There is also an eco setting. It looks great and the shelving is well spaced. Overall a high spec, at a reasonable price Our fridge freezer is now very old so we have ordered the Hisense model with a 60/40 split to replace that one too. Highly recommended
