It is advised to use ionised water with the Steamworks Handheld Garment Steamer although you can use tap water if you so wish. It really depends on the water type in your area, if it classed as hard water or soft water. If you are in a hard water area then it is not advisable to use tap water due to the limescale build up as a result of this.
