Idéal bookcase
I have the same in light grey and even though this is dark grey (which is also very stylish), the colour difference does not matter as it’s the same line. I like these bookcases as they are deep enough to hold two rows of books and have flexible shelving so can accommodate lots of different sizes. Seamless ordering and delivery (items brought into room of my choice) easy to assemble by myself. Super pleased. Highly recommend this.

Useful tall bookcase
I wanted a tall bookcase with deep adjustable shelves which were capable of accepting A4 folders. To increase the strength I also used PVA glue on the joints. I have the fixed 75cm shelves each loaded with 20Kg (44 lbs) of oversize books, evenly distributed, without deflection. I would be uncomfortable about the moveable shelves at this extreme load because the pins supporting them are inserted directly into chipboard which can crush and tear, letting the shelf drop. The shelves themselves are very strong; it is the method of support that has potential limits. I have them all fully loaded with hardback books and there is absolutely no sign of distress. Note that the pins must be fully pushed in to half their length for safety. Hope this helps.
