I purchased these storage containers last month and I am very happy with the purchase. 4 brilliant storage containers for this price is excellent value for money. I have stored food in them in the fridge and reheated food with them inside the microwave with now problems and they are so easy to clean also they fit inside each other saving valuable cupboard space.

Have found the 4 sizes useful. One lid's steam release valve is already very stiff to open and close so I'm not sure how robust they will be in the longer term hence the lower 4 star rating. Fit inside each other so great for space saving.

Good size, awkward vent to open/close.
Good size containers for microwave and fridge, vent button on top difficult to open as it is a twist mechanism not a switch… no good if you have difficulty with arthritis etc

Yes, vent open
These dishes are ideal for re-heating soup, puddings etc and I also use for cooking vegetables. I am guessing BevG thought you were putting the tin in the microwave so they are in fact correct. However, most people will know that you meant emptying the contents in the dish to heat. Gave me a laugh BevG - smiley face.
Normally metal should not be put in the microwave as it can cause sparks known as arking and damage the inside!!BevG

Reheating food with the lid off will stop steam building up. Removing the red stopper will allow the steam to be released.
