Good set of containers
Love these containers and does the trick. They stack nicely inside of each other for easy storage. Only downside is the plastic does stain very easily even when washed straight away so keep this in mind but still would recommend. The red plastic vent adjusts from open to close so can use to store food in the fridge too which is handy.

Great set of microwave bowls
This is the second set of these bowls I have purchased, the others were 4 years old and getting stained from tomato ptoducts. They are good sizes and I use them all the time, I like that they stack inside each other taking up less space. Good set of versatile bowls

Lovely quality microwave containers.
These are great microwave containers. Very good value for money, easy to store as you can put them all stacked inside each other.Easy to use in the microwave, just slide the vent on the lid on top open to let the steam out. These make cooking vegetables so much quicker than using a hob, also lots of different sizes for which is great for cooking small or large portions of whatever you want.

Yes, vent open
These dishes are ideal for re-heating soup, puddings etc and I also use for cooking vegetables. I am guessing BevG thought you were putting the tin in the microwave so they are in fact correct. However, most people will know that you meant emptying the contents in the dish to heat. Gave me a laugh BevG - smiley face.
Normally metal should not be put in the microwave as it can cause sparks known as arking and damage the inside!!BevG
