Great for much larger peeps
As someone who is trying to lose weight but struggles to find a scale that can take my current weight, I was relieved when I found this one, it is stable, easy to read the numbers, seems to be accurate, and is durable enough to hold 400lbs with no trouble, it should hopefully make keeping track of weight loss much easier, I can't recommend it enough

Nice looking but not good on carpeted floor
Nice looking scales and easy to set up with a clear, large display. I particularly wanted ones with carpet feet for use in the bedroom, and, although these were easy to fit, unfortunately, the scale is very unreliable when used on carpet. It only gives a consistent accurate reading when used on a hard floor which is somewhat disappointing.

Great replacement
The old ones have gone to a charity shop as still working but bought these to make it easier to read the actual weight. The large digital numbers certainly do that and the larger area to stand on, gives good balance. Came with its own batteries. Guarantee was hard work to set up but excellent to have 15 years. They look good as well.

Sleek and Sturdy, large clear screen
I had given up on bathroom scales they had got over complicated with tiny screens that I had to bend over and squint at and then they all breakdown. These scales are the opposite. I recommend these scales if you want a simple life. They look great in the bathroom. Are very sturdy with a strong base. The screen is very easy and larger than most. It is clear to read from standing position. We are a tall family age 55+ It came with two standard batteries not the tiny ones that kept dropping out of previous scales. It needs to be zeroed for the first time once in its chosen place. The scales are sleek and sturdy. They seem accurate my measurements match the GP surgery.

Not accurate scales
The problem is these scales are not accurate, it regularly gives two completely different weights just 30 seconds apart, often by up to 2 or 3kg difference, which is not acceptable. In terms of appearance and size, the scales are great, but the whole point of scales is to give accurate weight, and they consistently fail on this.

Have to stand on these scales about 3 times to get an accurate reading as they're usually about 7lbs off which is really annoying. I now have a different set which are much better this one
