Indispensable
This might not be as trendy as it once was but it is a well used piece of kitchen equipment and is indispensable for making spaghetti substitutes that are delicious and low cal.

Useful features
Bought this to get some variety into a glut of courgettes and it's so easy to use! I particularly like the suction pad on the bottom of the spiraliser, great feature. The cleaning is a bit fiddly but not horrendous. Love it!

Hello there,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Large Spiralizer - Blue: ''The food gripper cannot be removed, but can be wiped clean.''
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hello Chika,
The supplier has advised the following for the Large Spiralizer - Blue:
The optional “blades” work more like guides that split the veg into a desired thickness and direct it to the main blade, which still does the cutting of the strands.
One thing to check/consider is whether the blades have been fitted correctly? (For this we'd advise that you consult the instructions). However, without being able to observe this directly, we cannot give accurate or definitive advice.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.

In my experience those extra blades dont even come in contact with the vegetable! Completely useless.
Hi Mima
I cannot describe the exact shapes made by the different blades but they are demonstrated in the video together on the same screen 32 seconds in and can therefore be compared.
Thanks for using Q&A.
