Cookworks toaster
Product toasts bread and crumpets well. Prefer this one to last Russell Hobbs as it is taller and big slices are toasted to the top. However, I am a bit worried that most of our slices use timer level 5 or 6/6. Is more powerful than last model but doesn't seem to be any quicker.

You get what you pay for
Bought a month ago and already showing signs of poor quality. The popup is getting lazier and lazier and soon it'll be going back when it finally gives up

Late night toast. š
Fantastic toaster.š No problems at all. Even the browning control is accurate (for once). Great bit of kit, and the light is pretty cool too, if you like a bit of late night toast. š š«”

Beats some of the more expensive ones hands down
I have not had the best luck when choosing a toaster in the past but this one is proving to be the best. It is quick and browns the toast to perfection. It also looks good and I certainly recommend it.

Happy customer
Cooks thick sliced toasting bread all over. The illuminated light clearly shows when it is operational. Nice crispy crunch when cooked. Tried 2 more expensive toasters before this that broke within 12 months of purchase but this one cooks and works better. Have to see how long it will last!! Purchased 4 Feb 2026. Used daily.

Decent
Can put thick slices in it, not too big on the counter and looks nice and more importantly works well.

Very disappointing
It looks fine but the toaster does not toast properly and needs two attempts to toast. It also takes a long time to do that toasting.

Lisa advised using warm soapy water and a sponge, but that does not work, because the glue is solvent based.
To remove the label, first I peeled away the plastic layer, then I used a soft cloth to apply white spirit, rubbing gently until all the paper and glue was removed, and finally I wiped off any residue with warm water and soap.

Hi Damien
I am unable to give a full answer as this is dependant on the thickness and dryness of the bread, if this is frozen bread and also the degree of browning you would require.
