Does the job very well
Bought as a replacement for a broken grabber and this is definitely better than the previous one, I'll be getting a spare soon and hope I can get an identical one as this one is excellent.

Useful
I’ve hurt my back and can’t bend down so I bought this picker. It’s surprisingly good at picking up all sorts of things and the tip is magnetic, so I’ve even picked up a dropped screw with it! However, it is a bit short for me. I’m 176cm tall and I still have to bend my knees or back a bit to reach all the way down with it. I should have thought to check this before making my purchase though so it is not a fault of the item.

No this would not be recommend, the manual states this is for use with light weight items. It's to assist in reaching and lifting items from the floor.
