Don’t buy if you live in old property with internal solid brick walls, it won’t work if you move it out of the room that you’re router is in unless you connect it the old fashion way by plugging a Ethernet cable into the extender and hub/router and going probably through your walls with the extending cable. Probably need better equipment that can daisy chain 🤷♀️Easy to set up and connect in same room

Appears to do what it claims.
Had this item for 2 days and it appears to do what it claims. It seems well made and well designed. Easy to set up and improves wifi strength in bedroom which previously was very poor.

Very good wifi coverage
I bought this as a replacement for an older TP-Link extender and it provides significantly better wifi coverage. I recently moved to full fibre and the modem/router was relocated some distance from the living room, so a good wifi extender was needed. I had no problems setting it up using WPS, and it works very well indeed.

Wi-Fi extender
Not bad a Wi-Fi extender, the WPS connection wouldn’t work, had to use the Tether App. You have to register to use the App, seems to work well. Bought a Freely tv that has terrible Wi-Fi reception from Argos, i wish I could amend the review for it. Too early to comment, Argos asked for this review 2 days after purchase, not really fair to comment.

Good range
Bought this internet range extender to improve the service in my garden where I was only getting a poor to fair signal at best from the router in the lounge. With this kit fitted in the room between the lounge and the garden I'm now getting a good stable signal with no buffering. Happy days!

TP-Link Wi-Fi range extenders can work when plugged to a travel adapter. If there is no router or any travel router, it cannot work separately in a caravan.

The RE315 is equipped with one Fast Ethernet (FE) port, supporting transmission speeds up to 100Mbps. This is a standard RJ45 port, the most commonly used Ethernet interface type in the networking field—almost all standard Ethernet cables (Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, etc.) use this rectangular plug.

The RE315 is compatible with most standard Wi-Fi routers, including non-TP-Link brand routers such as the Sky Max all-fiber router. Therefore, generally speaking, it should work with your Sky router.

We recommend using a Range Extender for outside in small/medium-sized homes or open space environments with few physical obstacles to the propagation of the signal. If you need an extended wireless network in a property with very thick walls, it is better to aim for a powerline device.
