The Cookworks Variable Temperature Glass Kettle has four temperature control buttons to brew delicate tea or boiling water for a builder's brew. Its 1.7 litre capacity holds 6-7 cups, and 2200W power heats quickly. The keep warm function holds temperature without reboiling, while the transparent glass shows water level. Blue illumination lights as it boils, the removable washable filter keeps limescale out, and boil dry protection switches it off if empty.
It's cordless with a 360-degree base so you can lift and place it from any angle, and the push button lid makes filling easy. The 0.75m cable gives you flexibility for placement, and at 1.09kg when empty it's light enough to handle comfortably. You'll get a 1-year manufacturer's guarantee for peace of mind.

Great Kettle!
This is the 3rd Cookworks Variable Temperature Glass Kettle we have had over the years. Although there was a slight problem several years ago with the 1st kettle which had to be exchanged due to it switching itself off after a few seconds, it was replaced with a 2nd one which we have been very happy with for a long time. The manufacturer now appears to have remedied the auto switch off problem which other reviewers had also experienced and we have just purchased a new one to replace our old one which is still working, but we wanted a refresh! The range of temperatures, fast boil, cup numbers and measurements on the side of the kettle as well as it's good looks is far better than many expensive brand name kettles we have had over the years which never lasted very long. Consequently, I am more than happy to recommend this kettle to others, as it is reliable and has longevity.

Good quality for the price
Works really well and the temperature options are actually much more useful than you'd think (the nerd in me also realises that over time this kettle will pay for itself if I'm no longer boiling water unnecessarily. Looks good in the kitchen - no complaints!

There are no replacements on the site. Ive called customer service and been told there is nothing they can do!
Im now faced with buying another 40quid kettle because there is no replacement filter that much bigger brands sell for 3.99quid!

Having recently purchased this kettle I can say that we have had no issues with the pour. If anything it pours better than our last one. If water does go everywhere Id say people may be trying to put too fast.
No it doesnt ! Water pours everywhere! Also seems to turn itself off every now and again for no reason!

As this kettle can be set to various water temperatures, 70°C, 80°C, 90°C, that will save the power that would be needed to boil it to 100°C. Also, the keep warm feature can save energy when it comes to a reboil. (It keeps the desired temperature for up to 30 mins).

The Cookworks Variable Temperature Glass Kettle - S/Steel, comes with instructions. I will pop the manual below where it states what temperature you can boil the water for. You can boil it at 100, 90,80,or 70 degrees. The temperature each person likes there drinks at is down to the individual so it will not give you a direct temperature for each drink.
