LOOKS GREAT BUT TOO COMPLICATED TO WORK WITH
The water level markers are in white print which is impossible to read easily. The temperature gauge does not work properly, giving a higher temperature level when water is set to 70 degrees. There is alot of pressing various buttons just to turn the kettle on. I simply wanted a kettle that I could turn on and it would boil, or press a temperature button and get the required temperature.

Best kettle ever
Easy to fill and clean. I like the variable temperate and find 90 degrees perfect for a cup of tea.

Durable glass design
Excellent design and proper glass. My last kettle had a plastic level window in a stainless body, and started leaking because of the plastic had distorted with heat. This is I am sure a better design.

Lovely kettle with great variable temperature.
Bought this last month and it's great for the variable temperatures, perfect for tea , coffee, hot chocolate etc . Does everything i need it to and really reasonable price.

Good
Functioning ok, very nice to be able to choose temperature, only downside is that you can’t completely empty water from the kettle but overall a good kettle for this price.

Great features
I purchased this some time ago, and I find it to be a very decent kettle; shame about the lid design, which allows drips to fall while pouring. Was that not to be the case, a full 5* would have been given

Hi Marypoppins.
Cookworks Variable Temperature Glass Kettle - S/Steel:
From the information available, the kettle on its own weighs 1.09kg.
Thank you for using Q&A.
There are no replacements on the site. Ive called customer service and been told there is nothing they can do!
Im now faced with buying another 40quid kettle because there is no replacement filter that much bigger brands sell for 3.99quid!
Where is the solution in that?!

Having recently purchased this kettle I can say that we have had no issues with the pour. If anything it pours better than our last one. If water does go everywhere Id say people may be trying to put too fast.
No it doesnt ! Water pours everywhere! Also seems to turn itself off every now and again for no reason!

Hello Rebecca,
The supplier has advised the following for the Cookworks Variable Temperature Glass Kettle - S/Steel:
As this kettle can be set to various water temperatures, 70°C, 80°C, 90°C, that will save the power that would be needed to boil it to 100°C. Also, the keep warm feature can save energy when it comes to a reboil. (It keeps the desired temperature for up to 30 mins).
I hope this helps.

Hi Kettle,
The Cookworks Variable Temperature Glass Kettle - S/Steel, comes with instructions. I will pop the manual below where it states what temperature you can boil the water for. You can boil it at 100, 90,80,or 70 degrees. The temperature each person likes there drinks at is down to the individual so it will not give you a direct temperature for each drink.
