Kettle
Don’t waste your money. First kettle wouldn’t stop boiling and second kettle kept switching off. Got a refund.

Poor spout but otherwise good.
Nice kettle, useful to have different temperatures and the keep warm function. Spout bit poor, noticed that on another review.

A chunky kettle
I bought this because it was cheaper than most with variable temperature settings. It is a bit clumsy to handle and pour because it is fatter at bottom. It's tricky to locate in its base. The on off switch responds variably, sometimes requiring two presses for it to continue heating. The maintain temperature control is useful. I like the glass body which makes it easy to see the water level. Boils for slightly too long before it switches off. My last kettle was a Ninja which lasted just over two yeas before it started to leak and cost twice the price.

Fantastic.
Good capacity and a nice little hidden filter, 4 different temperatures with a clear glass body and of course the lovely blue lights, temperature rages from 70c to 100c so coffee is perfect every time and tea is spot on, the added bonus is you can also keep the water warm. Some people say it’s loud but can you boil water silently?

Variable Temperature Kettle
The minimum fill is 0.5l which is more than I usually need for 1 mug. The variable temperature doesn't seem to be that accurate, perhaps because I'm not putting enough water in. Otherwise it's very good.

Great kettle
Good stylish kettle for the price , only used a few times but seems to do exactly what it was purchased for, the variable temperature control and stay warm feature is handy , we have boiling water tape but you still need a kettle for back up

Kettle
Looks smart, pours badly as the spout is narrow and water spills each side if you aren’t careful. Nice to be able to have different water temperatures. Not all the water pours out, some is left in the kettle.

Great little kettle
I was looking for a kettle that could be used without coming to the boil and I saw this in the sale. Also the reviews were good. Having bought it I have found it easy to use and I can have hot but not boiling water very quickly. The keep warm button is of use to me also.

Hello Dal,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Cookworks Variable Temperature Glass Kettle - S/Steel: ''Glass kettles are not required to have a special coating. The best way to keep the glass clear is with regular descaling especially if the water is hard.''
Thank you for using Q and A.
Hi Marypoppins.
Cookworks Variable Temperature Glass Kettle - S/Steel:
From the information available, the kettle on its own weighs 1.09kg.
Thank you for using Q&A.
There are no replacements on the site. Ive called customer service and been told there is nothing they can do!
Im now faced with buying another 40quid kettle because there is no replacement filter that much bigger brands sell for 3.99quid!
Where is the solution in that?!

Having recently purchased this kettle I can say that we have had no issues with the pour. If anything it pours better than our last one. If water does go everywhere Id say people may be trying to put too fast.
No it doesnt ! Water pours everywhere! Also seems to turn itself off every now and again for no reason!
Hello Jill,
The supplier has advised the following for the Cookworks Variable Temperature Glass Kettle - S/Steel:

No it does not, I frequently pour water all over the place when using it.

Hello Rebecca,
The supplier has advised the following for the Cookworks Variable Temperature Glass Kettle - S/Steel:
As this kettle can be set to various water temperatures, 70°C, 80°C, 90°C, that will save the power that would be needed to boil it to 100°C. Also, the keep warm feature can save energy when it comes to a reboil. (It keeps the desired temperature for up to 30 mins).
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Kettle,
The Cookworks Variable Temperature Glass Kettle - S/Steel, comes with instructions. I will pop the manual below where it states what temperature you can boil the water for. You can boil it at 100, 90,80,or 70 degrees. The temperature each person likes there drinks at is down to the individual so it will not give you a direct temperature for each drink.
